Cancellation policy

Plans change. Here's exactly how we handle cancellations and refunds — no surprises.

PilavTour operates as a commissioned agent for our licensed Uzbekistan tour operator (the “DMC partner”), who is the principal provider of all tour services and the recipient of payment. Refunds, when applicable, are processed by the DMC partner. The cancellation terms below reflect the policy of our DMC partner and apply to all PilavTour bookings.

Cancellation schedule

The applicable charge is based on how many days before your tour start date we receive your written cancellation request.

How to cancel

Please send your cancellation request by email to hello@pilavtour.uz. The cancellation date is the date we receive your written request, not the date you sent it. Please include:

Refund timing

Refunds are processed by our DMC partner within 14 business days of confirming the cancellation. Bank transfer refunds may take an additional 3–7 business days to appear in your account depending on your bank. Card refunds appear on your statement within 5–10 business days. International transfer fees charged by intermediate banks during the original payment are not refundable.

Force majeure

If the tour cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond our control — including but not limited to natural disasters, government travel restrictions, border closures, war, or epidemics — we will work with our DMC partner to either reschedule your tour at no additional cost, or refund all recoverable costs. Non-recoverable third-party costs (such as non-refundable flight tickets booked separately) remain outside our control.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, and personal belongings. Standard “cancel for any reason” policies often cover cancellation fees that fall outside this policy. Most insurance providers require you to purchase coverage within 14–21 days of making your booking deposit.

Changes to your booking

Date changes, name changes, or itinerary modifications are subject to availability and any difference in cost. Changes made 30+ days before the tour start date typically carry no fee. Changes within 30 days may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking under the terms above.

No-show policy

Failure to arrive on the tour start date without prior written notification is treated as a same-day cancellation, with a 100% cancellation charge.
